Marine Electric assembles its own printed circuit boards, using both through-hole and surface mount technologies. Using both assembly methods gives the company the flexibility to support both new designs and legacy products.
As a military-grade contract manufacturer, Marine Electric’s in-house precision machining allows the company to perform both build-to-print and design-build projects for its military and industrial customers.
Our team of engineers has developed scores of complex military, space and rugged C4ISR products while working at some of the nation’s leading prime defense contractors and the Department of Defense. Many of our assignments have been “quick-reaction” projects developed for specialty missions of U.S. forces. Marine Electric can also reverse engineer systems where the original equipment manufacturer is no longer able or willing to support their continued operation. Internationally, our team has developed products and systems for NATO and the IDF. Our engineers are available to work on custom projects or to assist in developing or transitioning products to the U.S. market.
Marine’s design team of engineers and technicians have over 200 years of collective experience in designing, troubleshooting, and maintaining every device technology from tubes to complex FPGAs used in military systems. The team’s expertise is heavily weighted toward computer, RF, power and sensor electronics. Marine already maintains and supports our wide-ranging product portfolio by maintaining an extensive inventory of heritage components. The company’s buyer/supplier network is extensive and facilitates our ability to source hard-to-find and obsolete parts.
